Sidney is a confident, professional with experience in the public, private and social impact sectors. Sidney has been cancer free for over 20 years and is dedicated to changing the cancer landscape. He is passionate about creating lasting social impact regarding holistic childhood cancer care in Kenya.
He serves as the Fundraising Director of Hope for Cancer Kids, Kenya, an organization that is a foundation partner of the St. Jude Global Alliance. He sits on the board of Childhood Cancer International (CCI) and is the vice chair of the African Regional Committee (CCI). He also serves on board of the Kenyan Network of Cancer Organizations (KENCO)
Sidney serves in various capacities at the National Cancer Control Program (NCCP). The Childhood Cancer technical working group (TWG) and the Advocacy Partnerships Coordination and Financing TWG. He also serves on two sub-committees, Advocacy Communication & Social Mobilization (ACSM) Survivorship.
