The Cancer Education Material for Patients and Caregivers (CEMPC) 3rd Edition, developed by KENCO in collaboration with key partners,  with support from the American Cancer Society, is transforming cancer care across Kenya.

Through this initiative, 104 health workers across 41 healthcare facilities in 31 counties—including Nairobi, Kisumu, Taita Taveta, Kericho, Makueni, Embu, Nyeri, Nakuru, Kiambu, Uasin Gishu, Bomet, Turkana, Meru, Tharaka Nithi, Bungoma, Homa Bay, Kakamega, Nyandarua, Garissa, Isiolo, Machakos, Kwale, Kilifi, Mombasa, Busia, Kisii, Nyamira, Murang’a, Siaya, Vihiga, and Lodwar—have been trained.

By training healthcare workers in cancer detection, management, and patient support, CEMPC strengthens healthcare systems to deliver inclusive, life-saving care to communities nationwide.
