World cancer day commemoration is held on 4^th February every year. This year, the commemoration will be held in Mombasa and the theme for the next 3 years is “close the gap” which is all about addressing existing inequalities in access to cancer care. KENCO has joined other stakeholders in planning for the main commemoration event and other activities which include cancer screening services, creation of awareness on cancer through various platforms and capacity building of health workers through various webinars.
