A patient level Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system that captures clients information as they navigate and access health services in facilities across the country, within CMIS is a module on cancer that captures clients information on all screenable cancers. This module as a digital resource aims to give us the burden on precancer for cervical cancer post screening, the number of clients that have been treated for precancerous lesions and the number of clients that have been referred for cervical cancer treatment post lab results. Furthermore, this resource aims to assist the Ministry in intensifying training of Healthcare workers based on the number of facilities that are actually screening versus those that are not in order to increase the coverage of screening.
