Cancer Awareness and Management Foundation (CAM -Foundation) is a locally registered entity that was founded by Sam Ngugi, a cancer warrior and survivor together with is wife, Juliah. The foundation is built upon the wealth of experience that the couple has gathered in their own journey while fighting cancer since the year 2012. It also includes the experiences they have had while supporting and interacting with persons affected and infected by the scourge.
Objectives
- Provide care, moral, and material support to cancer patients
- Gather, analyse and share reliable data on cancer
- Offer advisory dietary support for cancer patients
- Network both cancer patients and survivors with the aim of sharing experiences
- Provide cancer support groups and forums for sustained psycho-social support
- Provide financial support to needy cancer patients plus emergency response to critical patients
- Solicit Parliament, government entities and other bodies in furthering these goals
- Secure funds for the attainment of any or all objects of the Organization
